THE EXPERIENCE OF FLIEHKRAFT is a series of seven fictitious construction plans of physically impossible amusement rides in combination with seven short video clips. The amusement rides are caricatures of civilisation. In todays fun parks people are centrifuged by gigantic robots - an expression of our desire to escape. The seven plans are purely fictional, they are a montage from Nowaks carousel designs mixed with pieces of real plans. As part of the concept the original footage was recorded with an amateur camera. It was then retouched with computergenerated elements.

TILL NOWAK, *1980 in Mainz, lives and works in Los Angeles, is an award winning digital artist, designer and filmmaker. He works as a professional computer graphics artist since 1999. He graduated 2005 in media design at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, Germany. His work has been exhibited and screened in numerous international shows and festivals such as SiGGRAPH. He is a member of the European Film Academy, the German Film Academy, ASIFA Hollywood and the Art Directors Guild.
