Shannon Soundquist is part of the feminist DJ collective Prozecco. In the context of dgtl fmnsm during Cynetart she exclusively presents female* artists to gain their visibility. So she practices a strategic essentialism in the sense of Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak. The set was accompanied by Shannon discursively – like a club lecture: While DJing she wrote notes on the artists and their feminist activities as well as their musical activities. The writing procedure was visible to all via room projection.
