Danylo Halkin - The Parus Hotel. Project Defence
The Parus Hotel is a 32-storey unfinished modernist building in the city of Dnipro for 996 people, whose construction lasted from 1975 to 1989. At the beginning of 2022, the building became the property of the city administration, after which the mayor of the city announced his intention to demolish it as it was "a depressing symbol of the city". With the Russian Federation's war of aggression on Ukraine, there is a second possibility of the building being destroyed by a missile strike.
